个人简介
Janez Krek (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in computational plasma physics from the University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1996 and 2015, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering, Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, MI, USA, in 2021.
His work involved developing and maintaining OOPD1/PYPD1 (1D3V PIC-MCC), XOOPIC (2D3V PIC-MCC), and chemical kinetic global model code—the Kinetic Global Model framework (KGMf). He coupled KGMf with Boltzmann equation solver to self-consistently evaluate EEDF to capture reaction kinetics and used KGMf in sensitivity analysis of complicated reaction sets and reaction set reductions. His current research interests include low-temperature high-pressure plasma simulations and plasma chemical kinetics.
