I am broadly interested in the study of comparative biomechanics, trophic ecology, ecotoxicology, and movement ecology. By using an integrative approach to understand how organisms function within the scope of their environment, associations of physical performance can be used to assess ecological roles and resource use. These analyses can then be used to inform conservation and management of species from an integrative perspective. I am particularly interested in using quantitative methods (hierarchical models, mixed effects models, multivariate ordinations, clustering, Bayesian statistics) to answer questions regarding an organism’s ecology.
