Career Trajectory
Bio
Mr Kar Teoh is a triple board certified Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon. He did his Higher Surgical Training in the Wales Deanery after completing his Medical School and Academic Foundation Programme in Edinburgh and Core Surgical Training in Severn (Gloucestershire). His advanced Foot and Ankle training was in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr with Kartik Hariharan and Hiro Tanaka. He has been awarded numerous prestigious international fellowships from many organisations (BOA, BOFAS, AO, EFORT, IBRA, SICOT, EFAS).
His current research interests are:
1) Outcomes following minimally invasive surgery in foot and ankle
2) Delayed union and non-union in foot and ankle surgery
3) Medium term results of total hip replacements
4) Magnetically controlled growing rods in early onset scoliosis
