个人简介
Kristopher (Kristo) Kriechbaum is a Mechatronics Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He has over 15 years of experience in developing robotic surface sampling systems, from early research and development phases through flight implementation. He was part of the teams that built the sampling subsystems for the Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity) and the Mars 2020 (Perseverance) rovers. He is the deputy chief engineer for the sampling system of the Europa Lander mission concept.
