个人简介
Dr. Tao Liu, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow with the Human Performance Lab at the University of Calgary. Tao’s research has centered on the use of biomechanical modelling and machine learning principles to evaluate clinical conditions and inform the design of health technology. His research has included developing novel approaches to understand low back pain etiology, scoliosis brace design, and design of talus implants, which have been patented and are currently in use at the University of Alberta Hospital. Tao is currently using wearable sensors to determine return-to-play readiness for athletes and evaluating footwear design in order to enhance running performance.
