个人简介
Lorenzo Scherino received the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in electronic engineering for automation and telecommunication in 2018 from the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, with a final mark of 110/110. Since 2019, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree with the University of Sannio, in collaboration with Experimental Physics - Detector Technologies Group, The European Organization for Nuclear Research. He proceeded with the researcher career with the Optoelectronic Group of the Engineering Department, in Benevento, where he worked on the design, development and characterization of advanced optical fiber plasmonic sensors deriving from the integration of fiber optic technology and multiresponsive materials, selected for biomedical applications. His main research interests include development of a fully engineered rad-hard thermo-hygrometer and dosimeter fiber optic sensors, optimized for high energy physics applications.
