Bio
Madison Cohen-McFarlane (madison.mcfarlane@sce.carleton.ca) is a Ph.D. degree candidate in biomedical engineering in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University, Ottawa Canada. She received her B.Eng. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Guelph in 2015 and her M.A.Sc. from Carleton University in 2017. Her current research includes remote monitoring methods aimed at improving long-term care of older adults at home, specifically the integration of multiple sensors to monitor non-speech related human sounds. She is a graduate student member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
