The scientific interests focus on new catalytic reactions of industrial interest, polymer synthesis and the reuse of materials at the end of their life-cycle to obtain new chemical products. The main research lines are actually: 1) the synthesis and characterization of biodegradable and / or compostable polymers (eg PLA) and their use as macro-ligands for metal ions coordination and catalysis 2) pyrolysis using microwaves for the treatment of end of life materials (tires, plastics, biomass etc.).
