we study the pathological and immunological phenomena involved in microsporidium infection that affect mammals, such as Encephalitozoon cuniculi. The participation of macrophages, NKT cells and B-1 cells in opportunistic E. cuniculi infections, as well as the participation of eferocytosis are the focus of research on the host-parasite relationship.
