个人简介
Carolina Miozzi (Student Member, IEEE) received the M. Sc. degree in medical engineering in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering in 2021, from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” Her thesis work focused on the development of a wireless transcutaneous communication system for the control of robotic hand prostheses through implantable EMG-sensors (project supported by the Rehab Technologies IIT-INAIL Lab). She has authored of several scientific publications in important international journals, book chapters and conference contributions.
Her research interests include the design, prototyping and testing of on-body and through-the-body wireless antenna systems for smart health monitoring and biophysical parameters detection. For the development of Industrial-IoT solutions in the field of Health 4.0 and Biotech. Since 2019, she has been with Radio6ense Srl, an innovative spin-off of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She is Student Member of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
