Mochamad Nursalim was born in , Tuban regency, on May 3, 1968, i. His educational history started from SDN I Sumberejo, SMPN 1 Rengel, SPGN Tuban, S1 Guidance and Counseling from IKIP Surabaya and S2 Psychology at Universiti Gaja Mada. S3 Guidance and Counseling, Malang State University.
The author has been a lecturer in the Unesa . The author served as the Head of PPB FIP Unesa for the years 2004-2008 and 2008-2012, the Third Assistant Dean of FIP for the years 2012-2016. Secretary of P2KLBK LP3M Unesa 2015-2018, Dean of FIP Unesa 2019 to date. The author also served as the Head of the PPB / BK Interdisciplinary Forum throughout Indonesia in 2007-2009. The author has been the recipient of the Outstanding Lecturer Award (2007) and the Satya Work Badge Award for 10 and 20 years, as the Head of the Outstanding Study Program (2011), and the Outstanding Scholar (2012).
Several local, national and international training courses and seminars were attended by the authors, both as speakers and participants. In addition, the author also specializes in many seminars and as an intern in various trainings. The author has produced hundreds of articles in the form of papers, research reports, CPM reports, articles in accredited scientific journals and in the form of reference books. The books produced by the author are Introduction to Guidance and Counseling (2003), Guidance and Counseling Services (2003), Problem Analysis in Counseling (2004), Counseling Strategies (2004), Counseling Skills (2005), Group Counseling (2008), Extension and Counseling Media (2010), Guidance and Counseling in Primary Schools (2011), Counseling Strategies and Interventions (2013), Media Development for Guidance and Counseling (2013). Guidance and Counseling in Professional Development (2015), Traumatic Counseling (2018), Educational Psychology (2019). The authors are also developing the Norsalem Institute as a center for hypnotherapy research and counseling
