Mohamed Ghanem

Mohamed A. Ghanem received the B.S. degree in civil engineering and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in aeronautics and astronautics engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, in 2009, 2012, and 2018, respectively. He received his Engineer in Training Certificate from the State of Washington in 2009. He was a Structural Engineer with SIE, Mukilteo, WA, USA, from 2012 to 2014. He is currently a Research Associate with Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), University of Washington. Most of his work has been focused on linear and nonlinear finite element analysis. His research is focused on radiation force toward the development of 3-D acoustical traps for macroscopic objects and holographic beam shaping for medical applications.
