Bio
Narayan Bhusal (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Tribhuvan University, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal, in December 2015, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in May 2018, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nevada at Reno, in 2021.
In May 2023, he joined the Oakridge National Laboratory (ORNL) as a Research Scientist. Prior to joining ORNL, he was a Principal Engineer with Quanta Technology LLC. His research interests include resilience, reliability, and stability of cyber-physical energy systems; the application of machine/deep learning in power systems; virtual inertia; and community-based energy storage.
