个人简介
Nathan D. Earnest-Noble received the B.S. degree in physics and applied mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2008, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, in 2013 and 2018, respectively.
During his graduate studies, he worked on designing potential next generation superconducting qubits, which are robust to environmental noise, such as the Heavy Fluxonium or 0-Pi qubits. He joined IBM Quantum in 2019. He is currently a Quantum Software Integration Lead and Quantum Computing Application Researcher. He has worked on developing quantum algorithms for near term applications, leads efforts to integrate IBM's quantum software across the stack with external partners, collaborates with quantum computing researchers to leverage knowledge of hardware for the benefit of quantum algorithms and designs, and teaches courses on quantum algorithms.
