个人简介
Nicholas E. Fuhr received the B.S. degree (summa cum laude) in biochemistry and a minor in materials science and engineering from The University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minnesota), in May 2019. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Materials Science and Engineering Program, Boston University (matriculated September 2019). His past research experiences range from the following: organic synthesis of fluorescent dyes and antibiotics in 2016 and 2018, 3D printing of quantum dot-based organic light-emitting diodes in 2017, pharmaceutical sciences (e.g., production of hybridoma antibodies for antibody-drug conjugates and the cellular engineering mesenchymal stem cells) with applications in cancer treatment in 2018, and the design and characterization of magnetic MEMS in 2019. His ongoing research interests include nanofabrication of semiconductor materials and biosensing.
