I am a person who loves a challenge. When I am interested in a field of work I become engrossed in the goals of the task at hand until I (or the team around me) feel that we have succeeded in what we set out to achieve. I find that I work best in a team environment where I am able to harness the power of the group to achieve a lot more than I can do by myself. Having said that, I enjoy setting and achieving personal goals. I enjoy using the freedom given to me to find creative and innovative solutions to problems.

I love the many thrils that life has to offer. I am an advanced PADI scuba diver, I have kitesurfed in Madagascar and around the coastline of South Africa. Subsequenct to my gap year as an instructor at Spirit of Adventure (Shongweni), I have led UCT student groups on a Kilimanjaro summit hike, a skydiving excursion and a kloofing outing in Grabouw. I have passed the Cape Wine Academy Certificate Course. As a hobby, I have built and flown model airplanes for five years. Fitness is important to me and apart from gym, I am an avid road and trail runner.
