个人简介
Paolo Gherardo Carlet (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. (Hons.) degrees in 2015 and 2017, respectively, in electrical engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with Electrical Drives Laboratory, under the supervision of Prof. Silverio Bolognani. From August 2019 to June 2020, he was a Visiting Student with the Automatic Control Laboratory of ETH Zurich, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Florian Dorfler. During the visiting period, he worked on the development of data-driven predictive control schemes for electric drives applications. His main research interests include data-driven control schemes and adaptive control algorithms, with particular focus on electric motor drives applications. The main tools he adopts to tackle these problems are model predictive control schemes, recursive state and parameters estimators and moving horizon estimation algorithms. The purpose of his research activity is to improve the performance of optimal control algorithms through the effective use of measured data.
