Pascal Witte (S'03–M'04) received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Hannover, Germany, in 2004 with highest honors. He worked on his graduation thesis at Cadence Berkeley Labs in Berkeley, California. His thesis was on circuit optimization using clock skew scheduling and retiming.
After his graduation, he worked for three years at IBM Microelectronics in Boeblingen, Germany, in the IBM server group processor development. He designed high-speed SRAM Arrays for IBM Mainframe Servers and OEM customer processors. In 2007, he joined the Institute of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg, where he was working on background error correction in Delta-Sigma A/D converters towards his Ph.D. degree. From 2008 to 2012, he continued his work at the Institute of Microelectronics at the University of Ulm, Germany. Since 2012, he has been working for Baker Hughes in the high temperature electronics design group. His main research interests are in system design of Delta-Sigma ADCs, and in the design of analog circuits for temperatures above 200°C.
