个人简介
Pavel Hazdra (M'97–SM'02) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in microelectronics from Czech Technical University (CTU), Prague, Czech Republic, in 1984 and 1991, respectively.
In 1987, he joined the Department of Microelectronics, CTU, as an Assistant Professor, where he has been managing the Electron Device Group since 1992. In 1996, he became an Associate Professor in the same department. Since 2006, he has been the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU. In 1988, 1992, and 1993–1994, he was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Surrey, Guilford, U.K., University of Hull, Hull, U.K., and University of Lund, Lund, Sweden, respectively. His research is focused on defects in semiconductors and their characterization by electrical and optical methods. His current research interests include radiation defects and their application in power electronics, nanostructures, and quantum dots. He is the author or coauthor of more than 160 scientific and technical papers. He is also the holder of two patents.
Dr. Hazdra is the Vice Chairman and a past Chairman of the Joint MTT/AP/ED/EMC Chapter of the Czechoslovakia Section of IEEE. He was the recipient of several awards, e.g., the Bronze Medal of Czech Ministry of Education (2003) and the CEI/Elsevier (1990) and E-MRS (2006) Awards for presentation of his scientific results.
