Priscila's research is focused on the integrated management of water-related disaster risks (mainly floods and drought) as a measure to suggest mitigation strategies to the environment.
Her studies applies GIS tools to model urban systems and participatory approaches to understand the relationships between the stakeholders and the environment.
Findings recommends using spatial analysis and participatory approaches a way to adapt for extreme events linking with social constraints.
