Ricardo San Martín

Ricardo Díaz Martín was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1966. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical sciences from the University Complutense of Madrid in 1992 and 2001, respectively and the M.Sc. degree in occupational risk prevention in three specialties from the Madrid Institute of Training in 2003. He is a Full Professor of chemical engineering for 25 years as a University Professor with University CEU San Pablo, Madrid, and currently with the Distance University of Madrid. He is an author of over 50 books on chemistry and occupational risk prevention. He has published over 25 scientific and technical documents, and has participated in 24 scientific conferences on chemistry, sustainability, and environment. He has three registered patents. He is the Director of several university master’s degrees. He has been the Director of 15 Ph.D. theses with cum laude qualification. He has several national prizes and three times winner of the gold medal of professional merit granted by the general Council of Industrial Relations and Graduates in Labour Sciences. He is currently the Dean of the School of Chemical Officer of Madrid.
