个人简介
I am a biotechnologist and my interests incline toward molecular imaging,specializing in use of positron emission tomography (PET) as a tool in preclinical evaluation of novel radiotracers for diabetes and pancreatic cancer. Also, I participate in other research groups for, in vivo imaging of affibodies and antibodies labeled with long lived SPECT or PET radionuclides for cancer research especially in breast cancer, prostate cancer and in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas.
At Preclinical PET Platform, I am investigating the possibilities for in vivo visualization and quantification of native pancreatic beta cell mass using PET as molecular imaging modality.
Research routines are preclinical oriented with use of
* Short lived positron emitting radionuclide such as [11C] ,[18F] & [68Ga]
* Long lived SPECT radionuclides such as [99mTc], [111In] & [177Lu]
* Human islets and cancer cell lines of pancreatic origin.
* Autoradiography
* Small Animal models
* In Vivo Imaging in small animals with PET-CT and SPECT-CT
* Image analysis using software’s such as PMOD, AMIRA, AMIDE and Image J
" Basic Kinetic Modeling.
