Rejhana Blazevic was born on September 11th, 1986 in Visoko. In 2010. she graduated on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo, on Energy department. The third cycle of studies ends 2018. with the presentation of a doctoral thesis entitled: "Advanced Modelling and Dynamic Simulation of the Heating System with the Simultaneous Application of Model and the Final Volume Method" and she acquired the title of PhD. She has eleven years of experience mostly at teaching in higher education at the university as a senior assistant and later as an assistant professor. Her professional interested is closely related to energy transformation and renewable energy, since she is selected as lecturer for subject Fundamentals of energy. The subject Fundamentals of energy, which covers as the lecturer, is about advantages of renewable energy resources and disadvantages non renewable energy sources and possibilities to use them more efficiently.
During her career she was engaged in several projects as a team member. Some of them are: Analysis of wind velocity data in the area of the Sarajevo city for the period 1981-1990., Analysis of influential parameters of wind velocity, temperature and precipitation in the area of the Sarajevo city for the period 2000-2010 ", Analysis of wind velocity data in the area of the Bjelasnica for the period 2001-2010. Also, one of the international project she participated was Program DeveloPPP – LEEN GmbH - Qualification of the Technical and Economic Assessment of Energy Efficiency Measures of LEEN© Methodology - Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina
She has also worked as an expert associate in the field of energy efficiency and has experience in working on projects for conducting energy audits and energy certification of residential buildings and non-residential buildings. She participated in international and regional scientific and professional conferences, training, seminars, workshops as well as in staff training through Erasmus+ international staff mobility programs.
She is especially interested in:
• Renewable energy sources,
• Energy transformations,
• Heat transfer,
• Numerical modelling of heat transfer,
• Thermodynamic processes.
