个人简介
Sayeda Fatema teaches English Language and Literature (DELL) at the Department of English Langue and Literature, at the University of Creative Technology Chittagong (UCTC). Also, she is serving as an English Language Instructor at the English Access Micro-scholarship Program, a flagship program for underprivileged teenagers funded by the US Department of State, USA.
She is a Fulbright TEA Fellow (2018) at Montana State University, USA. During her teaching career, she has completed a number of E-Teacher Scholarship Courses and MOOCs under the US Department of State such as Integrating Critical Thinking Skills into the Exploration of Culture in an EFL Setting (2017), American English Global Comics VX (2020), and Using Educational Technology in the English Language Classroom (2020). Recently, she has completed the course Training for Trainers (TOT) (2020) facilitated by TESOL International Association, USA. Under Regional English Language Officer (RELO), Kathmandu, Nepal, she has received training at EMK Center, Dhaka, and Kathmandu, Nepal as Access English Instructor on Teaching English and Service Learning.
In 2019, she received a small grant from the US Department of State via American Center, US Embassy Dhaka for her project Merging Gender Issues in English Language Education through CBI. Her research interests include Teacher Education, Educational Technology, Sociolinguistics, Gender Issues in Language Teaching, Writing, etc. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in TESOL at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
