• 2000-2006 – student of Smolensk State Medical Academy (Russia), medical faculty;
• 2004-2005 – scholarship of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation;
• 2006-2008 – residency in neurology at the Scientific Center of Neurology of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow;
• 2008-2013 – clinical residency in neurosurgery at the Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery;
2013 – defended PhD thesis "Intraoperative fluorescence diagnosis and laser biospectroscopy in surgery of gliomas of the brain", scientific supervisor – academician of RAS, MD, Professor Potapov A. A (director of Burdenko Neurosurgical Institute). The results of the study are included in the national standard of neurosurgery in Russia for patients with cerebral gliomas

Field:
I am a staff neurosurgeon of N.N.Burdenko Neurosurgery Research Institute (Moscow). My professional interest is brain tumors (mainly gliomas). Every year up to 200 patients with this pathology are operated at our Department and about 1,000 patients generally at the Institute. My PhD thesis was devoted to fluorescence diagnosis in surgery of brain gliomas. Currently I am studying the anatomy and function of the long association pathways of the white matter of the human brain which is necessary for performing accurate and safe surgery for patients with brain gliomas.
