In terms of academic, innovation and scientific significance, she has persist the idea for a long time that they will aim at the important demands of the country in scientific research, put stress on both fundamental research and industrial application, taking the interface science as the foundation and master line. She has obtained a number of innovative achievements in such domains as the development, clean and efficient utilization of unconventional petroleum, remediation technology and sustainable development of contaminated soil. The mechanism of mass transfer, migration and transformation among multi-phases and multi-components, the molecular interface mechanics, and the separation strengthening method involved in the research area of development, clean and sufficient utilization of unconventional petroleum resource are applied in the environment remediation field, which then forms the research system featured in intersected chemical, chemical engineering, and environment science. Highlight innovative points: 1. Based on the thermodynamics and interface theory, she has learned the essential factors affecting and limiting peeling of asphaltic oil from the surface of silt, and revealed the separation mechanism of asphaltic oil, water, clay and other fine solid particles in terms of dynamics and molecular action. 2. She promoted for the first time the application of a kind of low viscosity ionic liquid and green reversible tertiary ammonium salt in extraction of oil sand bitumen. She preliminarily probed into the promotion mechanism, and found the practicability of solving the problems of difficult recovery of ionic liquid and poor quality of asphaltic oil from the source. 3. She applied the chemical engineering transfer and separation theory into the migration, mass transfer, interaction, transformation rules and remediation process of complex pollution components in porous media at different spatial and temporal scales. Especially for hazardous chemicals and persistent refractory organic compounds, she put forward a new set of methods for analysis, remediation and evaluation.
