Tamás Bozóki is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Doctoral School of Environmental Sciences, University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary. He carries out his Ph.D. study at the Geodetic and Geophysical Institute, Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Gabriella Sátori. The main objective of his Ph.D. is to build and validate an inversion algorithm that is able to reconstruct the distribution and intensity of global lightning activity based on Schumann resonance measurements and to identify SR intensity variations of nonlightning (extraterrestrial) origin to exclude them from the inversion procedure.
