个人简介
Reliable computational methods and models for the description of deformation and damage of engineering materials are essential for the sustainable design. Therefore, we investigate microstructure-properties correlations using micromechanics and develop microstructure- and mechanism-based material models for plasticity and damage. Furthermore, we develop the corresponding algorithms for finite-element implementation of the models and for fracture mechanics assessment of cracks.
