个人简介
Xinyu Zhou (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Tsingtao, Shandong, China. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2014 and 2018, respectively.
From 2014 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with Sun Yat-sen University–Carnegie Mellon University (SYSU-CMU) Shunde International Joint Research Institute, China. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. From 2020 to 2021, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA. From 2021 to 2022, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronic Information Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and a member of the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Things (RIAIoT), PolyU. He is the Principal Investigator of the Laboratory of Radio Frequency Microelectronics Circuits (RFMC), PolyU. His current research interests include broadband high-efficiency and high-linearity GaN power amplifiers in RF and millimeter-wave, integrated circuits, and microwave passive circuits.
Dr. Zhou was a recipient of the First Place Award of the High-Efficiency Power Amplifier Student Design Competition, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S) International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in 2017 and the Second Place Award of the same Student Design Competition in 2018. He is an Affiliate Member of the MTT-12 Microwave High-Power Techniques Committee, IMS Subcommittee (high-power (≥ 10 W) RF and microwave amplifiers, below 30 GHz), the co-chair of 2023, and an IMS technical paper review committee member. He is a reviewer for over ten internationally refereed journals and conferences. He is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems— I: Regular Papers and IET Electronics Letters.
