Development of an e-diagnostics system based on Web-services

摘要
Remote diagnosis systems can improve internet technology by monitoring the equipment status; it increases availability of production and facility equipment, reduces Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and depletes field service resources and costs. In this paper, we propose a prototype of remote diagnosis system with UML and data mining technique-support vector machine. We adopt UML to model and design the server-client system and provide data mining web services in XML. The preliminary tests show satisfactory results.
