摘要

A physical network topology description scheme where individual optical switching functionalities are specified in a mathematically exact and machine readable manner is presented. The scheme can support multi-granular, hierarchical, and/or heterogeneous optical node configurations universally and is successfully evaluated through numerical experiments of path computations.
