The work for the first time attempted a sociological analysis of the personality of Sheikh Mansour through the prism of the concept of charismatic leadership of Max Weber. The author has consistently ana lyzed the most important components of the definition of charismatic lead ership and their correspondence to the personality of sheikh Mansour. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the results of specific socio logical studies are given, conducted by the author in different years.
Objective — to develop and clinically validate a new method for assessing facial growth patterns in patients with distal occlusion based on comprehensive analysis of angular parameters from lateral cephalometric radiographs using point Po as a stable reference. Materials and methods. The study included 40 patients (aged 18—40 years) with distal occlusion. The method evaluates six angular parameters (∠N—Po—Pg, ∠Po—N—Pg, ∠Po—Go—Pg, ∠Po—N—A, ∠Po—N—B, and ∠M) and their cumulative angle. Results. Significant differences in the total angle were found depending on the type of facial skeleton growth. In patients with distal occlusion, horizontal growth pattern angle was 433.9±6.2°, significantly lower than controls (p<0.001). The neutral growth pattern mean angle was 440.1±6.2°, showing no statistically significant difference from normative values (p>0.05). The vertical growth pattern mean angle was 446.3±6.2°, exceeding normative values by 1,7% (p<0.01). All measurements were taken with average mesiodistal dimensions of upper incisors of 30.3±0.3 mm. Conclusions. The obtained data demonstrate a clear relationship between facial growth pattern type and severity of distal occlusion.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the scientific heritage of Letchi Magomedovich Garsaev – one of the leading researchers of the history, culture and ethnic identity of the Chechen people. Special attention is paid to his works on the study of tayps (benoy, gordaloy, elistanjoy, gunoy), the history of villages (Elistanzhi, Argun, Shali), ethnography (male and female clothing), religious culture (the Sufi brotherhood of Kunta-Haji), and issues of the Chechen diaspora in the Middle East. The work uses a comprehensive approach based on the analysis of Garsaev's published works available on the eLibrary.ru platform. The scientific significance of his research for understanding the historical path of the Chechen people and preserving their cultural heritage is demonstrated.
Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis is an inflammatory disease of the mucous membrane of the maxillary sinus, caused by the penetration of infectious agents from periapical, periodontal, or post-traumatic chronic foci of upper jaw dental infections. Due to the anatomical proximity of the upper premolars and molars to the floor of the maxillary sinus, favorable conditions are created for the spread of the pathological process, contributing to the persistence and recurrent nature of the disease. According to various clinical and epidemiological studies, the proportion of odontogenic sinusitis among all forms of sinusitis ranges from 7.6% to 8.1% [1,2]. In current dental practice, preference is given to minimally invasive and organ-preserving treatment methods, highlighting the clinical significance of tooth-preserving surgical interventions in inflammatory diseases of odontogenic origin. This approach allows for simultaneous elimination of the infectious source while preserving the functional unit of the dental arch, thus reducing the risk of future complications [3,4]. Aim of the study. A retrospective study of the profile and prevalence of tooth-preserving interventions in patients with odontogenic sinusitis. Materials and Methods. A retrospective analysis was carried out at the Pushkino City Dental Clinic (State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Moscow Region, Pushkino, Moscow Region). The study included 69 patients who underwent tooth-preserving surgical interventions for odontogenic sinusitis during 2021–2023. Stratification was conducted by sex and age groups (20–35, 35–45, 45–55, 55–65, and 65–75 years). Quantitative and comparative analyses were performed. Results. Among patients who received tooth-preserving treatment, women accounted for 76.81% (n=53) and men 23.19% (n=16). The highest frequency of interventions was observed in the 45–55 age group. This structure of healthcare-seeking behavior indicates a pronounced gender- and age-related pattern that warrants further in-depth analysis. Conclusions: 1. Tooth-preserving interventions for odontogenic sinusitis are pathogenetically justified, minimally invasive procedures with high clinical effectiveness. 2. The predominance of female patients is associated with hormonal and immune shifts, particularly during the perimenopausal period, which increase susceptibility to inflammatory processes. 3. Consideration of gender and age factors is essential for the development of personalized diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive strategies.
