We identify phrases associated with novel technologies using textual analysis of patents, job postings, and earnings calls, enabling us to identify four stylized facts on the diffusion of jobs relating to new technologies. First, the development of economically impactful new technologies is geographically highly concentrated, more so even than overall patenting: 56% of the most economically impactful technologies come from just two U.S. locations, Silicon Valley and the Northeast Corridor. Second, as the technologies mature and the number of related jobs grows, hiring spreads geographically. But this process is very slow, taking around 50 years to disperse fully. Third, while initial hiring in new technologies is highly skill biased, over time the mean skill level in new positions declines, drawing in an increasing number of lower-skilled workers. Finally, the geographic spread of hiring is slowest for higher-skilled positions, with the locations where new technologies were pioneered remaining the focus for the technology’s high-skill jobs for decades.
The paper reveals the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of business processes. The aim of the study is to reveal the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of business processes. The object of the study is Ukrainian cultural heritage. The study used the following research methods: description, comparison, analysis and synthesis, literature analysis, and generalisation. The article reveals the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency of business processes. It describes the essence of the concept of “digital transformation”. It characterises the main factors of influence on modern business processes and identifies trends in the business world. The main directions of digital transformation of the business environment are considered. The trends in the use of cloud technologies, digital services, data collection and analysis, and digital networks in companies' business processes are identified. The main advantages of using these technologies in the business environment are identified. The costs of introducing digital technologies in Ukrainian companies' business processes are analysed. The directions for implementing digital transformations in Ukrainian companies' business processes in 2023 (in %) are considered. The trends of digital transformation in the business processes of domestic enterprises are identified.
Recent studies reveal that in spite of the increase in the prevalence of gout, the role of dietary risk factors in the development and management of this condition remains unclear. Therefore, this review work aimed at clarifying the role of dietary factors in the risk and management of gout. An extensive search of literatures published between 1960, to 2018 was performed on the databases of PubMed, CINAHL, Science direct, Cochrane, BMJ, Ann Rheum Dis, and BioMed to identify relevant Cohort, Prospective, and Population based, or Cross-sectional studies that examined the effect of diet on gout. A total of 19 studies (2 Cohort studies, 5 Prospective studies, 1 Population based studies, and 11 Cross sectional studies) were included in this review work. And the methodological quality of these studies was evaluated using the quality assessment tool for observational and cross-sectional studies developed by the National Heart, Lungs and Blood Institute. This work revealed that a positive association exist between intake of sugar sweetened beverages and the risk of gout. It also revealed an inverse relationship between the increase in coffee consumption and the risk of gout. The multivariate relative risk (RR) for incident gout based on coffee intake grouping of 0, <1, 1 - 3, 4 - 5, and > 6 cups per day, were 1.00, 0.97, 0.92, 0.60 (95% confidence interval 0.41 - 0.87), and 0.41 (95% confidence interval 0.19 - 0.88), respectively (P for trend is equal to 0.009). In addition, this work also recorded a positive association between risk of gout and the consumption of either meat or sea food. The multivariate relative risk of gout among participants who consumed meat at a mean daily intake of 2.5 servings per day was recorded as 1.41 (95% CI, 1.07 to 1.86; P for trend = 0.02). In summary, this research successfully clarified the role of dietary factors in both the risk and the management of gout. It also showed that while the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages, purine - rich foods (like meat and seafood), and fructose rich fruits increased the risk for gout, the consumption of coffee and dairy products reduced the risk for gout. Therefore, it is safe to suggest that dietary risk factors should be considered when gout patients are being managed.
he high rate of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation into the creative industries has transformed the creation of digital productions, upsetting the standard views of creativity, authorship, and ownership. The paper is an academic discussion on managing AI-generated digital literature on a multidisciplinary platform by looking at the convergence between technology, ethics, law, and society. It starts with its definition of AI-generated digital works and describes the existing technologies that allow machine-based artistic and intellectual works. Ethical issues that are core are examined, such as authorship, information privacy, disclosure, and responsibility. The paper also explores the legal loopholes in intellectual property rights, licensing, and regulatory differences in different countries, and suggests that there is an urgent necessity to harmonize the frameworks to apply the specifics of AI. Socioeconomic consequences are also evaluated, which includes the influence of AI on creative employment, the process of democratizing and monopolizing digital creativity, and the change in perception of authenticity and value in the population. In order to have ethical governance, the paper suggests elaborate frameworks that focus on ethical design, institutional responsibility and clear mechanisms of auditing. It proposes the implication of ethical factors in the lifecycle of AI developments, including data collection and implementation.
The DeepFake tech has had a theatrical impact on the visual arts, not only the provision of creative technology, but also the question of authenticity, copyright and misinformation. The deep learning and generative adversarial networks (GANs) produce deepfakes artificial images, which are extremely harmful to art. The article discusses the DeepFake detection and management within visual art work with emphasis on the practical application of analysis through multiple-layered approaches that would assist in ensuring the presence of the digital authenticity. DeepFake was managed through three core approaches, namely AI-Based Detection Frameworks, Blockchain-Based Authentication System, and Human-AI Collaborative Review Models. The decentralized strategy was based on blockchain technology, which was the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) registration by the cryptographic hashing to authenticate the provenance and ownership of the artworks. The human-AI composite system has integrated the inspection of the specialists on the visual level with the automatic monitoring of the anomalies to increase the readability and reduce the number of false alarms. The experiment revealed that the AI-based systems, blockchain approaches, and the collusion between human beings and AI detected 92.3, 87.6 and 94.1 % of people respectively. These findings suggest that the incorporation of algorithmic intelligence, a safe check, and human knowledge can help in quite a powerful DeepFake verification and management in the field of visual arts.
