Thermal medical imaging has started a new era in the field of medical imaging. In a few years, thermal images showed applications as an aid to state-of-the-art methodologies. The key advantage of Thermal image is- it is invasive, non-radiating, non-ionizing. During clinical investigation of Arthritis, clinicians observe inflammation, swelling, and restrictions of movements. To assess the inflammation they rely on the surface temperature. Hence, there is a high risk of manual error which leads to inaccuracy in diagnosis of the diseases. Within this extensive review of existing literature, we assess the characteristics employed in the most advanced endeavors. The particulars of openly accessible datasets are showcased. The manuscript at the end compared the proposed algorithms and analyzed the gap of the research works on thermal medical imaging in Arthritis diagnosis.
The globalization of financial markets in recent years, at the outset, it is important to highlight three longer-term trends in global markets. These are the dramatic increase in cross-border capital flows, the globalization of financial institutions, and the globalization of financial markets. This paper aims to find the future leader of global mutual funds by the year 2020. Its objectives: to examine the present trends in global financial markets; to understand global trends in mutual funds with respect to select countries; to predict expected changes in the next 10 years and India’s position.
Abstract: Anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria are a diverse group of microorganisms, including genera such as Chloroflexus, Rubrivivax, and Rhodopseudomonas. These photoautotrophs are defined by their ability to grow using light with distinctive metabolic properties that enable them to carry out Extracellular Electron Transfer (EET) without producing oxygen as a by-product. These microorganisms play a significant role in biogeochemical cycles such as the carbon and sulfur cycles in aquatic and sedimentary environments. Their specialized photosynthetic systems, which include bacteriochlorophyll- based light-harvesting complexes and electron transport chains, allow efficient utilization of light energy under anaerobic conditions. In recent years, the application of anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria in bioelectrochemical systems has gained increasing attention. Anoxygenic phototrophs are promising candidates for technologies like microbial fuel cells and biophotovoltaic systems due to their electrogenic potential. These systems rely on microbial metabolism to convert chemical or light energy into electrical energy, while also being useful in bioremediation and wastewater treatment. Understanding the molecular basis of EET and its incorporation with photosynthetic metabolism is critical for developing bioelectrochemical technologies and expanding their environmental applications. The mechanisms of EET and their ability to obtain electrons from organic molecules or reduced compounds and transfer them to external acceptors such as iron, sulfur, or other oxidized compounds will be explored in this review. The integration of photosynthetic processes with EET and their applications in bioelectrochemical systems are critically discussed.
As nations face two significant megatrends—demographic aging and digital transformation—there is a need to align technological innovation with overarching sustainability goals. This study examines the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve intergenerational skill transfer, thereby enabling aging populations to substantially contribute to the enhancement of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) literacy and Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). This examines the potential collaboration between AI-driven lifelong learning platforms and the engagement of elderly individuals as mentors in sustainability education. The study is guided by three primary inquiries: How can AI-assisted learning environments enhance the capacity of older individuals to transmit ESG-related skills? What impact do AI-personalized, senior-led sustainability programs have on the behaviors and attitudes of younger learners? What ethical and design issues are essential to ensuring that AI technologies equitably support older educators in sustainability transitions? This study uses a stepwise mixed-methods approach, beginning with a thorough assessment of AI applications in adult and intergenerational ESG education. Following this, quantitative data will be collected through interviews with elder participants using AI-assisted sustainability platforms, in conjunction with the qualitative analysis of pre- and post-intervention data to assess environmental attitudes among youth learners. The objectives of this study are to explore how AI-assisted learning environments enhance the capacity of elderly individuals to transmit ESG-related skills and to identify what ethical and design challenges are essential to ensure that AI technologies equitably support elderly individuals in transitioning to sustainability practices. This qualitative study addresses a research gap in AI for Good applications for inclusive environmental governance and digital aging. This study contributes to the expanding domains of AI for good, inclusive environmental governance, and digital aging by presenting a novel framework that integrates human knowledge with machine intelligence to foster sustainable futures.
CSR often takes the form of philanthropy among Indian corporate firms, but this does not necessarily mean that there is little potential for implementing CSR in any corporate business practices in India. This paper is intended to examine the invisible insights of CSR activities and corporate sector initiatives in India. It was found that most of the corporate entities are not spending their allocated budget amount towards CSR activity. In this paper it was observed that nearly 40 percent of allotted fund is not spent by the corporate giants in India. With an exception to few companies, most of them are lagging behind to reach the budgeted allocations during 2008-2013. Further, respondents’ opinion on CSR spending patterns is also elicited.
