The study contributes to the current debate on regional DMOs, namely the validity of their operating models and their effectiveness. Several features of DMOs' functioning were identified, indicating a varying degree of obsolescence of their organizational structures, through qualitative (interviews with experts) and quantitative (survey on a given population of regional DMOs) research. Additionally, the directions and forms of organizational reorientation in the functioning of regional DMOs were verified, which will increase their effectiveness. It was found that the vast majority of regional DMOs recognized the need for organizational reorientation regardless of their size, duration of operation, and budget.
The Lublin-Volhynian Culture is the oldest community representing the Early Eneolithic socio-economic modelin Lesser Poland. Together with the Wyciąże-Złotniki group, it has been the subject of a multifaceted analysis aspart of the National Science Centre’s project, ‘Adaptation of Transcarpathian cultural patterns of the Copper Age in Younger Danubian cultures in the Lesser Poland Upland,’ which was carried out between 2018 and 2023. A significant element of this research was a typological and chronological analysis of the ceramics of the Lublin-Volhynian culture. It showed that pots show apparent variability in form and ornamentation over time. The clarification of the absolute chronology of the Lublin-Volhynian culture enabled the separation of a group of graves containing pots, whose chronology was defined by AMS dates. These became the base for a pattern of variation in the forms and decoration of the pots. The resulting pattern corresponds to the general dynamics of development of the discussed unit between c. 4050-3700 BC.
Endocrine glands play a key role in menstruation disorders affecting hypothalamic-pituitary-ovary axis function. This chapter presents pituitary, thyroid and adrenal disturbed function influence upon menstrual cycle disturbances. The most common reason for hypothalamic-pituitary axis disorders is adenomas inducing hyperprolactinaemia and secondary amenorrhoea as well as acromegaly or Cushing's disease subsequently. Secondary amenorrhoea is very often observed in autoimmune hypothyroidism, whereas in hyperthyroidism, it is rather rare. Secondary amenorrhoea in adrenal diseases has been discussed. The observed form was characteristic for non-classical late onset of adrenal cortex congenital hypertrophy caused by 21-hydroxylase and 11-hydroxylase deficiency. Diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations are presented.
In the present situation, with the enhancement of virtualization techniques, it is very essential to keep track of accumulated large-scaled heterogeneous data in every respect. In addition to that, it is also necessary to prioritize the processing mechanisms when being linked with clustered data. Sometimes it has been observed that the large scaled datasets are too complex and therefore, the normal computation mechanisms are not sufficient or adequate for the specific applications. But it is highly required to observe the significance of each individual dataset and focus on the responses being accumulated from other aspects to make a suitable decision and generation of efficient analytical clustered data. The main aim of such applications is to apply the clustering gaining merits from evolutionary computation to process the large-scaled data and based on optimality, the performance of datasets can be measured.
