The transformation of government procurement of goods and services in Indonesia increasingly relies on integrated digital platforms such as INAPROC to improve efficiency, transparency, accountability, and the quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of INAPROC in the procurement process by evaluating dimensions of process performance, including time and cost efficiency, information accuracy, and operational ease; governance, including transparency and accountability; and user experience, including ease of use and satisfaction. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study surveys INAPROC users, including procurement officials, Commitment-Making Officials (Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen/PPK), system operators, and vendors, and complements the survey with targeted interviews to obtain deeper insights into user experiences. The analytical framework integrates the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to provide a comprehensive evaluation. The findings indicate that INAPROC is highly effective in strengthening transparency and accountability in procurement governance; however, its practical efficiency remains constrained by limitations in system quality and support services. The study is expected to identify the key factors determining INAPROC’s effectiveness and provide evidence-based recommendations for improving the quality of digital procurement services.
Context and relevance. Pursuing a postgraduate degree in a fast-track program presents significant challenges to students’ well-being. Objective. This study aims to explore the well-being of Indonesian postgraduate students in fast-track programs, focusing on their psychological challenges, coping strategies, and the role of coping self-efficacy (CSE) in predicting well-being. Methods and materials. The mixed-methods approach combines quantitative data from an e-survey with qualitative data from focus group discussions. The study involved 180 PMDSU awardees who completed the questionnaire, while 24 participants were selected for focus group discussions. The participants, aged 21–32 (M = 25,28; SD = 1,94; 42,2% of male and 57,8% of female participants), were from various Indonesian universities. Results. The results integrate quantitative findings with qualitative insights into challenges, support systems, and coping strategies among fast-track scholarship awardees. The multiple regression analyses revealed that obtaining social support coping (GS) and stopping unpleasant emotional and thought coping (SE) were significant predictors of various aspects of well-being. Specifically, GS strongly predicted life satisfaction (β = 0,430; p < 0,001) and positive affect (β = 0,344; p < 0,001), and was negatively associated with negative affect (β = −0,244; p = 0,007). SE significantly enhanced positive affect (β = 0,468; p < 0,001), reduced negative affect (β = −0,562; p < 0,001), and increased balance affect (β = 0,568; p < 0,001). Sex significantly predicted negative affect (β = 0,254; p < 0,001) and balance affect (β = –0,182, p = 0,001), with females reporting higher negative affect and lower balance affect. No significant effect was found for satisfaction with life or positive affect. Conclusions. The study concludes that awardees face diverse challenges and perceive their coping strategies as effective in overcoming difficulties, achieving academic success, and maintaining well-being. The findings highlight the critical role of emotional regulation and seeking social support as coping strategies in maintaining well-being.
This article presents a systematic review of land-based marine pollution in the Southern African Development Community (SADC), focusing on the river–sea interface. Using the PRISMA protocol, 30 articles published between 2015 and 2025 were selected. Key pollutants identified include microplastics, nutrients, heavy metals, and urban effluents, which travel through river basins and impact coastal ecosystems and communities. The region faces serious challenges due to limited wastewater treatment coverage, with many urban areas lacking adequate infrastructure or using outdated technologies. This leads to widespread discharge of untreated effluents into rivers. Fragmented governance, weak institutional capacity, and insufficient implementation of regional treaties further hinder pollution control. Climate change exacerbates these pressures by increasing hydrological extremes and the vulnerability of sanitation systems. Despite existing legal instruments, cooperation on monitoring and wastewater management remains limited. The integration of basin and coastal planning, improved governance, and transboundary collaboration are essential to reduce pollution and promote ecological and social resilience in the region.
