The Modern Institute of Technology and Management (MITM, Odia: ମଡ଼ର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୈଷୟିକ ଓ ପରିଚାଳନା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାନ) is an engineering and management institute in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. This institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. This college was established in 2008 by Prof. Dr. K.C.Dash under the Basanti Dash trust.
This study explores a Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES) based on the energy resources available at the selected site. It evaluates both the economic feasibility and technical reliability of the system for a single household located in an off-grid region. The proposed fully renewable HRES model is designed to meet a daily energy demand ranging from 2.835 to 4.965 kWh across different seasons. The findings indicate that the system effectively addresses issues of power intermittency while maintaining a balanced load throughout the year by minimizing unmet demand and capacity limitations. Furthermore, considering a projected lifespan of 25 years and associated energy costs, the system proves to be economically sustainable. This study also provides a foundational framework for enhancing electrification infrastructure in underserved areas and represents one of the first such implementations in Jharkhand, India.
Sustainable development can be guaranteed by adopting revolutionary technologies and making efficient use of natural resources. Everyone is focused on using renewable energy sources to address the worldwide power crisis. India is currently producing a significant amount of renewable energy. Now energy is a crucial factor and prerequisite for the advancement of human civilization and economy.Exploring alternative, unconventional, or renewable energy sources is therefore imperative in order to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and to preserve Mother Earth for the coming generations. This includes energy from sun, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass sources. Solar power uses solar thermal collectors or photovoltaic cells to harvest energy from the sun. Wind power converts wind energy from kinetic to electrical form by using wind turbines. Hydropower is the process of utilizing the energy of fluid motion to generate electricity. Organic materials are used to make biomass energy. The renewable power generation system offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to boost economic growth, achieve climate goals and improves human well-being in addition to creating new jobs. Because of this, renewable energy is becoming more and more significant and its applicability has increased significantly as worries regarding energy security have become more prevalent. The latest developments in renewable energy in India are examined in this paper.
Constraints of energy in a wireless sensor network has become a critical issue as almost all the nodes are battery driven. Hence energy is limited. Hence optimization of energy is a critical factor for the sensor node's lifetime. Here we have considered the asymmetric method of communication that uses different modulation schemes with error correcting codes for up-link and down-link communication. We evaluate and compare two extensively used error correcting codes, Hamming and Reed-Solomon (RS) codes, together with well-known modulation schemes, including QAM, M-FSK, M-PSK, and BPSK. This paper makes use of the relation between Signal to noise ratio (SNR) and bits per symbol towards modelling and analysis purposes.
The massive technological expansions in modern healthcare solutions have substantially influenced the development of several unfolding research fields. One such interesting area involves the therapeutic prognosis of pathological conditions in patients by using knowledge engineering techniques. These techniques have inevitably assisted in the growth of healthcare systems. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive classification framework for identification of pathological disorders in children. We consider a real dataset to study the accuracy in prediction of different classification algorithms for the identification of seven different pathological conditions. We then present an experimental analysis corresponding to the performance of each algorithm. This framework can be used for the early detection of diseases and for suggesting appropriate precautionary measures. Further a more stratified understanding of the demographics of a patient’s pathological conditions can be determined and appropriate treatment can be recommended.
India and China are the two emerging economies of the world. They are the two most populous countries in the world who together account for more than a third of the world’s total population. A descriptive research study has been carried out for investigating the Gross Domestic Product of India and China in nominal and purchasing power parity basis. It also compares per capita gross domestic product and GDP growth rate of India and China. It also investigates the trends in the value of Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY) with Indian Rupee (INR). This paper also exhibits the market share in Foreign Direct Investment in Asia Pacific region in 2015. The dramatic rise not only enabled socioeconomic upsurge of India and China but it also reshaped the regional and global trade trends. India replaced China as leading recipient of capital investment in Asia-Pacific with announced FDI of $63bn, as well as an 8 per cent increase in project numbers to 697. India faced various structural bottlenecks including delays in project approval, ill-targeted subsidies, a low manufacturing base and low agricultural productivity, difficulty in land acquisition, weak transportation and power networks, strict labour regulations and skill mismatches.
