Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University is a regional educational and scientific centre situated in Mogilev city, Belarus. Mogilev Republic A. Kuleshov University was founded in 1913. The first President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was among the graduates of the University, as well as the Heroes of Soviet Union and the Heroes of Socialist Labour, more than 300 Honoured Teachers and outstanding workers of the country’s system of education, scientists, writers, state and public figures, sportsmen – The World, Europe, and Olympic champions. Today the University is a scientific, educational and cultural center and provides education for the preparation of professionals and researchers in various scientific fields.
This study examines dual mentorship as a mechanism for integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into vocational education and training (VET). The phrase ’global comparative analysis’ is defined as a documentary comparison based on verifiable policy, statistical and peer-reviewed sources rather than as a new primary statistical survey. EU and Cedefop materials provide the main policy and data benchmark; Ukraine is treated as a contextual application case; and Asian evidence, including two publications by Shinawatra University-affiliated scholars, is used only where it directly supports work-based learning, industry-education cooperation and teacher digital readiness. The study uses authoritative sources from UNESCO, UNESCO-UNEVOC, the Council of the European Union, Cedefop, ILO, OECD, ETF, Eurostat and peer-reviewed studies. It proposes a dual mentorship framework linking institutional mentors and workplace mentors through green work tasks, learner protection, digital portfolios, joint assessment and quality assurance. Secondary data from Cedefop and Eurostat illustrate work-based learning exposure and enterprise training capacity. The findings show that dual mentorship can support ESD-oriented VET when mentor roles, workplace evidence, sustainability competencies and employer responsibilities are clearly documented.
This article examines a family of Liénard systems possessing four singular points in the finite plane, classified as 2A + 2S (two antisaddles and two saddles). Improved methods are presented for constructing such systems with a prescribed number of limit cycles, including cycles that enclose a group of singular points. A conjecture regarding the conditions for the absence of such enclosing cycles is proposed, and a sufficient condition of their absence is proved. The study introduces algorithms for generating predictive bifurcation curves, which partition the space of damping coefficients into domains characterized by a fixed distribution of limit cycles. The methodology is illustrated on two quartic restoring forces; for each of them the full list of realizable distributions is obtained, and representative distributions, including the mixed one ((1, 1), 1), are confirmed by direct numerical integration.
The aim of this study is to identify the main centers of factory ceramic production in the Vitebsk province based on an analysis of statistical written sources from the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries. The subject of the study is industrial enterprises producing bricks, tiles, pottery, and terracotta products. The relevance of this work is due to the lack of research on small-scale industrial production during this period. Methodologically, the study relies on comparative historical and historical-systematic methods. The analysis is conducted using chronological sections, which makes it possible to trace the evolution of the industry towards the gradual consolidation of production by the early 20th century. The source base covers official publications of collections, lists, indices, and lists of industries of the Russian Empire. These materials contain information in varying qualitative proportions on the number of enterprises, the number of workers employed, output volumes, the names of owners, and the location of production. All statistical sources distinguish two stable groups of ceramic production: brick and pottery and tile production. The study identified the main centers of ceramic production, localized in the province's cities and districts - including Vitebsk, Dvinsk, Lyutsin, Rezhitsa District, and other populated areas. It was established that the number of enterprises fluctuated over the years. The social composition of enterprise owners was diverse: nobles, merchants, townspeople, and peasants. The employment structure was characterized by a predominance of adult men, but women and boys of various age groups were also involved. From a technological standpoint, the industry relied predominantly on manual labor, though larger-scale factories employed mechanical engines. Ceramic production in the Vitebsk province was a developing system with stable centers. Statistical sources allow for a fairly complete reconstruction of the spatiotemporal picture of the region's industrial development, demonstrating both local characteristics and general trends of industrialization in the Belarusian lands in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Objective . To evaluate changes in the levels of esterified and free cholesterol in blood plasma in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) caused by an abdominal septic process. Materials and methods. The fractions of esterified and free cholesterol were analyzed in blood samples from 11 patients with abdominal sepsis MODS, as well as in the blood of 9 healthy individuals made up the control group. The total cholesterol content was determined using an automatic biochemical analyzer, while thin-layer chromatography was used to analyze the fractions of free and esterified cholesterol. Statistical analyses were performed using non-parametric statistics; statistical differences were considered significant at p<0.05. Results . The total plasma cholesterol of patients with sepsis and MODS was characterized by a substantially reduced esterified cholesterol fraction, and correspondingly increased free cholesterol proportion. Upon that the ratio of esterified to free cholesterol was almost four times lower than in the control group. The absolute concentration of esterified cholesterol in blood plasma of these patients was slightly more than half of the minimum normal value, while the concentration of free cholesterol was within the normal range. Conclusion . The identified changes confirm data on decrease in the activity of lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) in sepsis and MODS, which is responsible for the formation of the majority of esterified cholesterol in the blood by esterifying its free form. Moreover, it should be taken into account that this process is crucial for reverse cholesterol transport. Obtained results may also represent decreased activity of acyl-CoA cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT), responsible for intracellular cholesterol esterification. Since the liver plays a leading role not only in cholesterol synthesis but also in LCAT production and ACAT-mediated esterification of cholesterol, the decline in esterified cholesterol levels during MODS likely reflects impaired hepatic metabolic function.
