Montesquieu University (French: Université Montesquieu), also known as Bordeaux IV (French: Bordeaux Quatre), was a French university, based in Pessac, the suburbs of Bordeaux. In 2014, it merged with the Bordeaux 1 and Bordeaux 2 to form the University of Bordeaux.Named after the French lawyer and philosopher Montesquieu, Montesquieu University was the successor of the former Law and Economics Faculty, which origins go back as far as the 15th century. It incorporated long-standing teaching programmes and institutes which have an established reputation in the academic specialities of the University: law, political science, economics and management.Montesquieu University was organised into 6 departments (UFR) in the areas of economics and management, law, and economic and social administration (AES), as well as an Institute of Business Administration (IAE), and 2 University Institutes of Technology (IUT). In addition, the Bordeaux Institute of Political Studies was also annexed to the University. The University had 14,000 students and a staff of 400 teachers and researchers, with a non-academic staff of 300. It awarded around 4,100 diplomas each year at the various sites in Bordeaux itself, as well as at the satellite sites of Agen and Périgueux.[citation needed]There were 12 government-recognised research centres at the university, some of which are attached to large research organisations such as the CNRS and the National Foundation of Political Science..
This paper proposes and applies an integrated Likert–Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) decision model to identify critical factors and to prioritise hotel business takeover strategies in Malaysia, using Kuala Lumpur as the benchmark investment market. A structured questionnaire was administered to 122 industry stakeholders. Respondents first rated five critical factors (location, brand, management, technology and economy/post-pandemic conditions) on a five-point Likert scale to capture perceived salience, and then completed AHP pairwise comparisons to elicit trade-off priorities. For the 5×5 factor matrix, the Consistency Ratio (CR) was computed for each respondent and only consistent judgements (CR < 0.10; n = 75) were aggregated to derive final factor weights. Likert results indicate that management (mean = 4.66) and technology (mean = 4.64) are perceived as the most salient drivers, followed by location (mean = 4.52). In contrast, CR-filtered AHP weights prioritise location (0.2657) and brand (0.2245) above management (0.1976), evidencing a perception–trade-off divergence when stakeholders are required to make explicit comparisons. To translate these priorities into actionable governance options, respondents also compared three takeover strategy alternatives using AHP, producing global priorities that favour full ownership of both asset and business (A1: 0.4028) over an asset-light business-only takeover (A2: 0.3265) and long-term leasing (A3: 0.2708). The contribution is a repeatable, CR-screened Likert–AHP model that converts practitioner judgement into transparent numerical priorities and supports more defensible board-level investment decisions.
Radiogenomic studies have mostly linked single-site radiomic features (RFs) to genomic alterations in locally-advanced lung cancer, limiting their applicability to patients with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma (MLUAD). Our aim was to evaluate associations between unsupervised CT-based radiomic clustering of single-site and multi-site features and oncogenic alterations (OAs) and response to treatment in MLUAD. Patients managed at our center (October 2016–January 2024) with pre-treatment CT scans and next-generation sequencing were retrospectively included. Reproducible RFs were extracted from all solid tumor lesions > 1 cm³ using an automated pipeline. Patient-level integration used the centroid of each patient’s lesions in radiomic space, providing multi-site radiomics data. RFs from the largest and biopsied lesions were also isolated. Patients were clustered by unsupervised hierarchical consensus clustering using centroid-based (Cluster-C), largest lesion (Cluster-M), and biopsied lesion (Cluster-B) features. Uni- and multivariable associations with OAs (any OA, smoker-related [sOA], non-smoker-related [nsOA], or wild-type), overall response rate (ORR), and overall survival (OS) were investigated. Among 361 patients (median age 63.2 years; 41.3
OBJECTIVE:To develop best practice guidelines under the auspices of the CNGOF and Convergences PP for the management of pain associated with endometriosis. METHOD:We organised a literature review and a formal expert consensus. A multidisciplinary steering committee composed of 14 healthcare professionals and 2 patient association representatives drafted an argument based on literature analysis, resulting in 7 proposed definitions and 59 best practice recommendations. These proposals were then submitted for review by 108 French healthcare professionals from various specialties and professions. The first two rounds of rating were conducted online between June 2024 and November 2024, followed by a final videoconference meeting in January 2025. RESULTS:The participation rate was 68% in the first round (74/108) and 76% in the second round (56/74). In total, 3 definitions and 45 best practice recommendations were retained and distributed across 6 sections: 1) Definition; 2) Assessment of chronic pelvic pain associated with endometriosis; 3) Non-pharmacological management; 4) Pharmacological management; 5) Surgical management; 6) Communication, health education, and therapeutic education. CONCLUSION:This formal expert consensus process has enabled the development of definitions and best practice guidelines to assist healthcare professionals in managing patients suffering from pain associated with endometriosis, thereby promoting better screening, characterization of pain, and therapeutic management.
