Cancer remains one of the top causes of mortality globally, as highlighted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other prominent organizations. Early detection improves treatment outcomes, enhances survival rates, and reduces healthcare costs. Sensors based on nanomaterials facilitate early cancer detection by identifying ultra-low concentrations of biomarkers, which is crucial for effective treatment. Nanomaterials possess unique properties, including exceptional electrical, chemical, thermal, optical, and physical properties. The technology that arises from integrating these nanostructured materials with biosensors is commonly referred to as nanobiosensor technology. Incorporating these sensors into point-of-care devices enables rapid, on-site diagnostics without complex laboratory equipment. Regular monitoring enables the evaluation of therapy success, the implementation of essential changes, and the early identification of recurrence for appropriate intervention. Their detection element primarily determines the specificity and selectivity of nanobiosensors. Nanobiosensors utilize various biological elements, including enzymes, aptamers, antibodies, etc. This review examines recent advancements in nanobiosensors for the early detection of multiple cancer types, such as lung, breast, liver, gynecological, oral, and oesophageal cancers. It also explores the latest therapeutic applications for treatment strategies.
Mulberry (Morus alba L.) cultivation supports the livelihood of millions of rural people in eastern India. Excessive use of agrochemicals and inadequate awareness of eco-friendly farming impede environmental sustainability and silk quality. The present study assessed the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of 222 seri-farmers across three blocks of Murshidabad district, West Bengal, India and evaluated the impact of structured training on knowledge and adoption of recommended practices. Seri-farmers were categorized as trained (beneficiaries, n = 131) and untrained (non-beneficiaries, n = 91). Twenty key cultivation and post-cocoon parameters were evaluated using the mean index of knowledge, mean index of adoption, and Impact Index. Improvements were observed in field preparation, sapling cutting treatment, scientific rearing and silk extraction. Nevertheless, improper pesticide use continued due to the influential presence of agro-chemical vendors. Trained seri-farmers showed significantly higher knowledge (94.12 ± 6.35) than the untrained (74.33 ± 8.21; t = 6.84, p < 0.001). Likewise, adoption levels were also better among trained seri-farmers (71.31 ± 9.42) in comparison to untrained (53.00 ± 10.18; t = 5.27, p < 0.001). Additionally, the impact index (19.05
Leaf spot disease was observed on the leaves of field-grown banana (Musa paradisiaca) between November 2022 and January 2023. The disease was first reported from Ramganj (Latitude: 25.640855; Longitude: 88.430628). There were yellowish brown spots all over the central part of the leaves. Fungus was blackish in color. The fungus as Aspergillus niger (OR365417) was identified via molecular identification (18S rDNA partial sequencing). Using the Koch postulation, the leaf spot disease was restored on banana plant leaves. This is the first record of A. niger (OR365417) affecting banana from Ramganj region of Uttar Dinajpur District, West Bengal.
The primary objective of this paper is to establish several sharp versions of Bohr inequalities for bounded analytic functions in the unit disk D := {z is an element of C :|z| < 1} involving multiple Schwarz functions. Moreover, we obtain an improved version of the classical Rogosinski inequality for analytic functions in D. (c) 2025 Elsevier Inc. A convex function f of order α∈ [0,1) is defined by ( 1+zf^''(z)/f'^'(z)) >α for z ∈𝔻, where 𝔻 denotes the unit disk. The second Hankel determinant H_2,1( F_f^-1 / 2) of logarithmic coefficients of inverse functions is defined as H_2,1( F_f^-1 / 2) = Γ _1 Γ _3 - Γ _2^2, where Γ _1 , Γ _2 and Γ _3 are the first, second, and third logarithmic coefficients of inverse functions belonging to the class 𝒮 of normalized univalent functions. In this paper, we establish sharp inequalities |H_2,1(F_f^-1/2)|≤{[ 69α ^2-108α +48/1584, α∈ [0,6-√(3)/11),; (1-α )^2/36, α∈ [6-√(3)/11,4/5],; (1-α )^2(69α ^2-48α +12)/144(11α ^2-2α -1), α∈ (4/5,1) ]. for the logarithmic coefficients of inverse convex function of order α . The derived bound for α∈ [0,1) generalizes the results previously obtained by Allu and Shaji (Bull Austr Math Soc, 2025. https://doi.org/10.1017/S0004972724000200 ) and Mandal and Ahamed (Lith Math J 64:67–79, 2024).
