Based on a system of indicators characterizing the forest resource, timber industry, forestry, infrastructural and labor potentials at the beginning and end of the analyzed period, an integrated assessment of the level and growth rates of the forest potential of the Far Eastern regions has been determined. The assessment makes it possible to determine the initial opportunities, internal reserves and directions for the development of forest potential.
The purpose of the study was to assess the overgrowth of forest areas disrupted by the laying of gas pipelines. As a result of the cutting down of the technological corridor and the construction of the gas pipeline, the territory is being unevenly populated with vegetation. From 35 to 69% of forest species are preserved. The blackening of the disturbed territory depends on the activity of its settlement with deciduous tree species. The amount of coniferous undergrowth in the technological corridor can vary from 2.5 to 14.5 thousand units/ha. The most favorable conditions for reforestation are formed on the northern side of the technological corridor near the forest wall and at its edge. As the width of the technological corridor increases, the renewable potential of conifers decreases.
The study is devoted to the assessment of the occurrence of reforestation methods and the identification of factors influencing them in the Arctic zone of the European North. The main method of reforestation is to promote natural reforestation. The choice of the reforestation method is influenced by the hydrological conditions of deforestation, the degree of their clutter, the degree of blackening, the number of stumps per hectare and the type of forest.
The study was conducted to understand the complex of fungal infections affecting soybeans and monitor their development dynamics in Primorsky Krai to improve pest control systems. The work was conducted from 2020 to 2024. Farms in eight districts (Khankayskiy, Khorolskiy, Pogranichnyy, Ussuriyskiy, Mikhaylovskiy, Kirovskiy, Chernigovskiy and Dalnerechenskiy) were selected to assess the phytosanitary condition of crops, covering a total survey area of 116.1 thousand hectares. Root rots of complex etiology are widespread in Primorskiy Krai. The disease develops epiphytotically, with plant infestation rates ranging from 9.9% to 36.3%. During the research, a complex of leaf spots affecting the crop was identified: septoria leaf spot (Septoria glycines Hemmi.), downy mildew (Peronospora manshurica (Naum.) Syd.), cercospora leaf spot (Cercospora sojina Hara.), ascochyta leaf spot (Ascochyta sojaecola Abramov) and purple cercospora leaf spot (Cercospora kikuchii (T. Matsu & Tomoyasu) Gardner). Among all the pathogens, septoria leaf spot occupied a leading position in the region with an annual development intensity in crops from 20.6 to 34.9%, while the distribution reached 100%. Downy mildew manifested itself with great variability from 0.4 to 7.2%. The level of cercospora leaf spot damage ranged from 2.0 to 4.1%. Ascochyta leaf spot was noted in isolated cases without mass distribution. In 2020 and 2024 the quarantine pathogen purple cercospora leaf spot was recorded with a development rate of 1.5% and 0.4%, respectively. Laboratory phytopathological testing of 298 batches of soybean seeds provided by seed testing laboratories in Primorskiy Krai revealed a high infection load of fusarium and bacterial blight in the seed material.
The purpose of the study is to determine the adaptability of pea samples with different stem lengths according to the elements of the crop structure. Objectives: to evaluate the plasticity of samples with different stem lengths by the number of productive nodes, pods and seeds per plant, as well as the bean grain content, to identify the most stable samples in terms of productivity elements, to analyze the homeostaticity of the studied indicators. The study was conducted on the experimental fields of the Krasnoyarsk Research Institute of Agriculture, in the village of Minino from 2018 to 2022. The weather conditions of the growing seasons varied significantly: in 2018 – dry (HTC = 0.55), in 2019 – moderately moist (HTC = 0, 89); in 2020 – excessively moistened (HTC = 1.63), in 2021 – sufficiently moistened (HTC = 1.38); in 2022 – slightly dry (HTC = 1.04). The soils of the experimental plot are leached chernozem with neutral acidity pH 6.4. The objects of study were six accessions of peas: three medium-stemmed (Radomir, Yakhont, Zh-55) and three with a shortened stem (D-94, D-40, I-94). It was revealed that the most plastic in terms of the number of seeds, pods and productive nodes per plant are medium-stem samples, but in terms of bean grain content, the greatest plasticity is characteristic of samples with a short stem. More stable in terms of the number of productive nodes and pods per plant was the group of accessions with a shortened stem, responding to improved environmental conditions mainly due to an increase in the bean grain content. The stability of the indicator, the number of seeds, was largely determined by varietal characteristics. The homeostasis of productivity traits was determined more by their varietal characteristics than by belonging to the short stem or medium stem group.
