The perception of the significance of environmental problems and their solutions is determined by society’s cultural level, individual attitudes toward nature, and the visibility of natural transformations through anthropogenic activity. Ecology is widely perceived among the population not as a science of the interaction between the organism and the environment, but rather as an activity aimed at protecting the natural environment, known as environmentalism. The most radical movement to environmental protection is ecologism, which regards humans not as part of the biosphere, but merely as a factor in its pollution. Digitalization, which has affected virtually all spheres of human activity and is associated with a changing perception of the real world through digital devices, complicates the interaction between humans and nature. At the same time, the worsening environmental problems are leading to an increased importance of methods for developing environmental culture applied in interaction with the natural environment. The psychological and cultural characteristics of human perception of the natural environment in the current situation have been insufficiently studied. The aim of this study is to analyze the cultural phenomenon of the ecological trail as a tool for shaping an environmental worldview. Ecological trails are used in tourism and in educational and awareness-raising programs. Three paradoxical aspects of the eco-trail microcosm can be identified. First, the eco-trail is essentially a cultural shell through which immersion into a pristine natural environment occurs. Second, by promoting the mass dissemination of ecological culture, the eco-trail fosters a unique individual perception of nature, which occurs not so much on an intellectual and communicative level as on a synesthetic and even sensory-emotional one. This significantly distinguishes it as a tool for disseminating ecoculture from the digital environment and educational processes conducted indoors. The third paradox of the eco-trail is that the very concept of “trail” is existential; that is, etymologically, it can be seen as humanity’s desire to find a way out of the current crisis in its relationship with nature.
The article summarizes the results of long-term studies aimed at solving the urgent problem of the region of provision with forest resources for the forest industry in certain areas of Russia, including the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). A successful solution to this issue lies in the creation of plantations, including on the reclaimed surface. Therefore, the goal of the research was to introduce innovative reclamation technologies on technogenic formations for the further creation of forest-raw material plantations in the conditions of the FEFD. The methodological basis for studying this problem was the doctrine of Academician V.I. Vernadsky on the biosphere and noosphere. Experimental studies were carried out in the greenhouse of the Far Eastern Research Institute of Forestry and in the field on the reclaimed surface of the tailings dump using a composition (to improve the efficiency of reclamation) containing biochar, zeolites, technogenic components (ore processing waste) and, additionally, bioactivated carbon and brewing waste were used as organic sorbents. On the reclaimed surface of the tailing dump, cuttings of acclimatized poplar of the Voronezh selection and seedlings of tree crops were planted and watered with bioactivators. The results of the autumn inventory showed a satisfactory condition of all planted plants, but the highest rooting and survival rates were found in poplar cuttings in variants using Rostivin. Experimental studies have proven the possibility of successful plantation forest cultivation of tree plantations for the forest industry. An application for an invention has been filed and a Russian Patent has been received.
In this report a history of the emergence of various concepts of possible worlds that have entered science in different ways - as discovery in quantum mechanics, as well as in the course of solving semantic problems in mathematical logic, or through the desire of mathematicians to introduce into physics a categorical apparatus that is alternative to the apparatus based on set theory is provided. According to the author, the criterion of the reality of possible worlds in theoretical terms may be the development of the same physics applied to them as in the case of theoretical physics known to us, the progenitors of which were Newton and Leibniz.
The article examines the legal nature of concession agreements concluded between municipal public administrations and private (mainly foreign) joint-stock companies for the construction and operation of power stations and electric power networks in cities of the Russian Empire in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The relevance of the topic is due to both the growing interest of modern legal science in historical forms of public-private partnership and the need to understand the origins of domestic energy law in the absence of specific sectoral legislation. The purpose of this study is to identify and classify the complex legal structure of these agreements, which combined elements of private and public law. The author concludes that, because of the lack of specific legislation, the concession emerged as an institution with a mixed public-private nature, entailing a combination of contractual obligations and elements of administrative regulation.
