Penza State University (Russian: Пензенский государственный университет) is a state university in the city of Penza. It was founded in 1943. The university has nine faculties and five institutes.
Purpose: This study examines competence gaps as a structural constraint hindering retail and distribution systems' adaptation to digitalization and omnichannel models. Departing from a pedagogical perspective, it treats workforce competencies as an operational resource of these systems. Consequently, educational programs are analyzed not as a primary object of study, but as an institutional benchmark and proxy for interpreting competence demand within retail and distribution systems. Research design, data and methodology: The analysis uses vacancy data (approximately 1.2 thousand postings from the Penza regional market, 2024) for retail, logistics, and SCM occupations. Applying semantic text analysis and machine learning (NLP, clustering), skills were aggregated into competence profiles to identify misalignments between employer demand and institutional benchmarks from university programs. Results: Results show that modern systems rely on hybrid competence configurations combining digital, analytical, managerial, and customer-oriented components. These configurations are linked to inventory coordination, logistics responsiveness, and omnichannel service quality but remain poorly reflected in institutional benchmarks. Conclusions: The study demonstrates that vacancy-based labor market analytics can serve as a distribution-oriented diagnostic tool for identifying workforce-related coordination constraints. The proposed framework provides a data-driven basis for strengthening adaptive capacity in retail and distribution systems.
A study of reagent-free electrolysis purification of recirculating water supply systems for industrial aquaculture (growing catfish) was conducted. The aim was to study the efficiency of nitrogen-containing compounds (NH4⁺, NO2⁻, NO3⁻) reduction using generators with linear and pulse waveforms. The electrochemical unit operated at a current of 30 A and a voltage of 22 V, ensuring the processing of up to 20 m3 of water per day. The results showed that the use of a pulse power source ensures up to 40
The dynamics of the transfer of ion energy to the atoms of the crystal lattice when it hits different points on the surface was studied. The dependence of the scattered ion energy on the aiming parameters determining the coordinates of the impact points was determined. Based on the obtained data, a conclusion was drawn regarding the validity of the multiparticle interaction mechanism in the bombardment energy range from 15 to 400 eV.
The article analyzes the state of primary education in the Asian part of the Russian Empire as of January 1, 1915, based on archival materials from the Russian State Historical Archive. The focus is on the correlation between the total number of school-age children (8-11 years old) and the number of pupils enrolled in primary schools across 23 administrative units of Siberia, the Far East, the Steppe Region, Central Asia, and Transcaucasia. Using statistical data, the study identifies regional differences in the level of primary school enrollment and determines the percentage of enrolled pupils relative to the total number of children of the corresponding age group. The research shows that out of more than 2.2 million school-age children in the Asian part of the empire, approximately 550,000 were enrolled in schools, which accounted for about 25 percent. The highest level of enrollment was recorded in the Amur Region, while the lowest was observed in the Fergana Region. The author analyzes the factors influencing these disparities, including geographical remoteness, population density, specific features of colonial policy, and the degree of integration of the regions into the imperial administrative and educational system. The study refines our understanding of the scope and limitations of educational modernization in the eastern peripheries of the Russian Empire on the eve of the revolutionary events.
Known flavones 3–14 and two new flavone O-glycosides 1 and 2 were observed in herb of Mentha × piperita L. (Lamiaceae). The new flavonoids were 6-hydroxychrysoeriol 7-O-(6″-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (menthiside A, 1) and chrysoeriol 7-O-(4″-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (menthiside B, 2) according to UV and NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data. Compounds 1 and 2 possessed the capability to inhibit the activity of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH).
