Sr. I. Arockiamary is the Chancellor. Its website states that the school offers bachelor's degrees in several disciplines, including multiples types of engineering (mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and electronic engineering, computer engineering), a degree in information systems and network engineering, one in management and commerce, as well as a doctor of medicine degree.
This chapter addresses the contextualized interaction between entrepreneur leadership and participatory governance moderated by change oriented organizational culture over the Ethiopian context. The study with the sample size of 394 respondents uses a quantitative methodology to evaluate the dynamics of these variables. The results indicate that leadership of the entrepreneur greatly affects the participatory governance because it leads to a change-oriented organizational culture. This culture which is flexible, innovative and involves employee interaction takes on a mediating role of improving practices of governance. The chapter makes a contribution towards understanding of the influence of leadership style in governing. It underlines the need to develop an organizational culture that will have embraced change towards enhancing participatory governance. The implication of these findings implies that the leaders of organizations must focus more on entrepreneurial leadership and cultural transformation to realize effective governance.
This section studies the strategic dimensions that Culture of Organizational plays for sustainable business practices through in the Horn of Africa which faces rapid economic development alongside special difficulties. The study analyzes data from 385 participants using KMO to check sample adequacy as well as CFA for measurement model validation as well as SEM based on AMOS software for variable relationship analysis. The study demonstrates that organizations through strong cultures lead the adoption of sustainable practices since they benefit from common values as well as shared organizational norms that drive environmental responsibility together through social equity standards. Organizations practicing adaptive cultures demonstrate better success rates in sustainability initiative implementation which strengthens their market position as well as organizational stability when encountering regional challenges. The study explores how these outcomes affect decision-making authorities as well as business executives who should establish sustainability as their fundamental strategy.
This chapter discusses how Green Logistics (GL) can be affected by Smart Logistics Optimization (SLO) using Carbon-Efficient Routing (CER); for the sample case, the number of participants was 394. This research will focus on improving the efficiency of logistics operations through green initiatives, within the framework of growing environmental awareness and the necessity for sustainable logistics operations. Findings reveal that implementing the GL strategies, in addition to the decrease of carbon emission, can be used to improve the routing efficiency of the logistics associated with cost savings and better operational performance. The particular part of the chapter has got its contribution to the literature since it presents empirical data about the synergetic impression of Green and SL which can have been employed by logistics managers who want to achieve the equilibrium within the environmental sustainability and the operational efficiency. The knowledge obtained in this chapter can be utilized for creating more meaningful strategies for logistics.
Exosomes, nanoscale extracellular vesicles, have transitioned from being perceived as cellular debris to being recognized as pivotal mediators of intercellular communication and promising therapeutic agents. This review aimed to synthesize global advancements in exosome therapeutics, analyze the associated translational challenges, and evaluate the specific potential for integrating this technology within Tanzania's biomedical research and healthcare framework. This review utilized peer-reviewed literature from PubMed and Google Scholar, complemented by grey literature including regulatory agency reports and Tanzanian health policy documents, to provide a comprehensive systematic analysis. Studies were selected based on their focus on exosome biology, therapeutic applications (drug delivery, regenerative medicine, diagnostics), manufacturing challenges, regulatory considerations, and/or biomedical research capacity building in low-resource settings. The analysis confirms the significant therapeutic potential of exosomes but highlights major hurdles in standardization, manufacturing, and regulation. For Tanzania, key opportunities include developing exosome-based diagnostics for endemic diseases and leveraging international collaborations, while primary challenges encompass infrastructural deficits and a shortage of specialized expertise. We posit that with strategic investment, exosome technology represents a viable avenue for Tanzanian researchers to engage with cutting-edge biomedicine and develop context-specific solutions to public health challenges.
This present survey considers the impact of geopolitical events on market activity by contrasting the pre-conflict and post-conflict periods. In modern finance, the role of geopolitical events like wars, instability, and sanctions cannot be underestimated, because the modern international financial system is interdependent. Literature proves that the effect of geopolitical risk is regime-dependent and nonlinear, because market behavior changes under different economic conditions. This survey considers the impact of the realization of geopolitical events and the anticipation of geopolitical risk with respect to several transmission channels: uncertainty shock, behavioral, and liquidity. The findings show that the pre-conflict period is characterized by uncertainty and caution, while the post-conflict period is characterized by recovery from policies and adjustment. It should be stressed that the response to geopolitical risk differs geographically and economically. This research is innovative since it presents the theoretical scheme of geopolitical risk dynamics.
