This study maps the evolution of disaster communication research in Indonesia between 2000 and 2025 using a Semantic Systematic Literature Review (SSLR) approach. As one of the most disaster-prone countries globally, Indonesia requires effective disaster communication systems to strengthen community preparedness and risk governance. A total of 74 scholarly articles indexed in Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar were systematically selected following the PRISMA protocol. The analysis integrates thematic review and semantic mapping to identify dominant research themes, methodological patterns, and conceptual relationships within the literature. The findings reveal that disaster communication research in Indonesia has developed into an interdisciplinary field structured around five major thematic clusters: risk communication and disaster mitigation, crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic, local wisdom and community participation, digital and social media communication, and community resilience and governance. Semantic analysis indicates that risk communication and community resilience function as the primary conceptual anchors connecting social, policy, and technological dimensions across the literature. Overall, the results demonstrate a paradigm shift from reactive and institution-centered approaches toward participatory, digitally mediated, and data-driven communication models. This study contributes to disaster communication scholarship by offering a semantic-based conceptual mapping that clarifies the longitudinal evolution and intellectual structure of disaster communication research in Indonesia, providing insights relevant for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners in disaster risk governance.
This study aims to improve Qur'an literacy, particularly in terms of fluency in reading the Qur'an through the implementation of the Sore Mengaji program at TPQ At-Taqwa, Gung Pinto Village. The background to this activity stems from the still low ability to read the Qur'an among some students. This condition is influenced by limited study time in formal schools and the lack of intensive Qur'an learning assistance outside of school hours. Therefore, a coaching program is needed that can provide additional learning opportunities for students so that their Qur'an reading skills can develop well. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation of learning activities, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of program activities. The Sore Mengaji program is carried out routinely every afternoon with the guidance of Qur'an teachers using the talaqqi and tikrar methods, which focus on improving the reading of hijaiyah letters, makhraj, and the application of tajwid rules. The results of the activity show an increase in the ability of students to read the Qur'an more fluently and correctly. Furthermore, this program has also fostered students' interest in learning, discipline, and love for the Quran. Thus, the Evening Study Program has proven effective as a way to increase Quranic literacy within the At-Taqwa TPQ in Gung Pinto Village.
Latar belakang.
The rapid development of digital technology has transformed various aspects of human life, including education. Generation Z, which was born and raised in the digital era, has a very high level of technology usage. Although technology provides many benefits in learning, easy access to information also creates challenges such as misinformation, cyberbullying, social media addiction, and declining digital communication ethics. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping the digital ethics of Generation Z students through Islamic value-based digital literacy. The research employs a library research approach by reviewing relevant scientific journals, books, and academic documents. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in fostering digital ethics through the internalization of honesty (ṣidq), responsibility (amanah), verification (tabayyun), respectful communication, and self-control in technology usage. These values are implemented through classroom learning, teacher role modeling, positive digital habits, and strengthening Islamic digital literacy. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education serves as an important instrument in developing a digitally competent generation with strong moral character.
Background: In general, female students wear the headscarves for extended periods during daily activities. Prolonged headscarf use keeps the hair covered and pulled, creating a more humid environment with reduced oxygen flow and retained heat around the scalp. As a result, scalp complaints such as limp hair, dandruff, and hair loss (effluvium) are commonly reported among headscarf users. Both internal and external factors can cause hair loss (effluvium). To determine whether there is a relationship between headscarf use and hair loss (effluvium) in medical students of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra class of 2020. Methods: This study is an analytical observational study with univariate and bivariate analysis, using the cross-sectional method. Data collection used a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study was 62. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra, class of 2020. Results: The bivariate analysis yielded a p-value of 0.740 (p>0.05). with the number of headscarf users who are proper and experience hair loss and do not experience hair loss respectively 25 people (49.9%) vs 26 people (51%). While in the group of headscarf users who are improper, those who experience hair loss and those who do not are respectively 6 people (54.5%) vs 5 people (45.5%). Conclusion: No significant association was found between headscarf use and hair loss.
