A survey is presented of the current chemotherapy of bronchial carcinoma, excluding small cell carcinoma. Multiple drug treatment has made considerable progress in recent years and further prospective clinical trials, using new investigational drugs and protocols, are warranted. Current strategies and associated supportive treatments are discussed.
