阿米什社群拒绝世俗化和现代文化,在其坚守传统和抗拒西方现代性异化的过程中,形成了特有的阿米什文化符号.就洛特曼的符号域的理论而言,阿米什符号的边界在与外界无可避免的互动中动态更新.在文化语义空间中,马车、电话作为具体物质形式的符号与"牺牲者"作为抽象意义构建的符号,都在西方现代化过程中经历了自我生产的变化与翻译.研究发现,阿米什文化符号的形塑与再生产显著体现在他们的日常生活习惯和传统的教育模式中,强化了阿米什人的社群认同和文化主体性;同时,阿米什文化也在此过程中得到传承与发展.
Traditional attempts to define the concept of"art"has frequently meant finding their core characteristics or necessary and jointly sufficient conditions.Especially mimetic and formalist theories have had numerous proponents,arguing for the aesthetic relevance of iconicity or of formal aspects,respectively.In this paper,some basic tenets and problems of these approaches,most notably their essentialist biases,will be discussed.I shall put forward a moderate defense of the aesthetic relevance of mimetic or iconic features in the visual arts.Hereby,also studies from experimental aesthetics will be considered.
Nature-text is an important concept in ecosemiotics.Unlike the traditional notion of text,nature-text considers natural environments as units of meaning with double dimensions of semiosis,that is,intratextual biosemiosis between organisms and intertextual semiosis in cultural communication.To a great extent,the latter affects meaning generation of the semiotic texts,and the quantity,type and process of the former.As Chinese gardens and penjmgarre characteristic nature-texts,examining and interpreting them from an ecosemiotic perspective would shed light on the cultural effects on meaning generation and communication of nature-texts,and on the interaction amongst various phases and forms of biosemiosis.
书法艺术在保有汉字语意的前提下,将宇宙自然动势、书者情感、身体感知觉范式、书法历史风格等诸多意义"变量"纳入进来,展开汉字形式的"拓扑性"变形.书法拓扑性变形操作指向书法艺术创造力的同时,又保有了符义的语言意指这个不变量,并经由汉字符号获得了更多广泛的符号使用意义.书法艺术以符形为主导,兼顾符义与符用,三种意义维度相互影响、相互渗透、相互促进,共同构筑动态多维的书法意义空间.书法这种独特的意义生成机制在当代具有重要的价值意义.
耦合本是一个物理学的概念,指的是两个或两个以上的电路元件或电网络的输入与输出之间存在的紧密影响与互相配合的关系.在符号的双轴关系里,体现为双轴之间的相互作用,其中一方受到影响时,另外一方也会出现响应,双轴由此发生不同的运转.研究发现,姓名作为一种符号表意活动,其双轴的耦合关系具有一定的规律性变化.组合轴与聚合轴的选择组合功能始终贯穿于姓名符号构成及表意的过程中,展现出不同的运作状态及转向轨迹.本质上,这种不同代表了不同时代文化取向与价值判断的差异.双轴的耦合关系会随着社会的变迁和文化的更替而发生不同的运作及转向,并对姓名符号的编码历程产生动态影响,由此构成差异性的姓名符号.
