Through using both Pro/E and ADAMS to build the virtual prototypes with a new kind of multi-link engine and original one,we carry on simulated study and obtain simulated characteristic parameters of mechanism kinematics and dynamics.The result shows that in the simulated study on complicated mechanism,the simulating model can be built conveniently,shortly and accurately to solve the puzzle about mechanism kinematics and dynamics in complicated mechanism,combined 3D body modeling of Pro/E with powerful simulating function of ADAMS.The technology of virtual prototypes based upon both Pro/E and ADAMS will process an important engineering application value in design of ICE and other complicated machines.
In this paper,model of Pro-E and ADAMS of the engine with new multi-link mechanism is set up using dummy prototype technology.Calculations on kinematics and dynamics are conducted using ADAMS emulator.Simulation results show that kinematics characteristics of the new engine processes two properties: unsymmetrical movement and retarded expansion, the former will extend the duration of the intake and combustion and shorten the compression duration.The later is favorable to improvement of engine thermal efficiency.The dynamics calculation also shows that better designing not only means the reduction of piston side-stress during expansion process,but also refers to the avoiding of piston orientation changing at maximum pressure.
提出一种用于内燃机的新型曲柄连杆机构,建立了该机构的运动学数学模型,并编制了计算机程序.根据程序输出结果对新型曲柄连杆机构的活塞运动规律进行了重点分析.结果发现,经过改进的新型曲柄连杆机构具有明显的活塞运动的非对称性,并简析了这种新特性有可能对内燃机工作过程产生的影响.
The TJ-jet combustion system invented by Tianjin University is used to substitute the original one of Cherokee I-4 gasoline engine in view of its detonation, too-high exhaust temperature and other problems occurred under the specific condition of using the fuel with lower octane unmber in our country. With new combustion system the engine performances of the I-4S in power output and fuel consumption is better than that of the I-4 when the same fuel is used. Inaddition, the exhaust temperature is reduced greatly so the engine operation conditions are markedly improved.
