Впервые получены импульсные спектры кумулятивных частиц в области больших в реакции . Эксперимент выполнен на установке СПИН (ИФВЭ, Протвино) на пучке протонов с энергией 50 ГэВ, взаимодействующих с ядрами C, Al, Cu и W. Положительно заряженные частицы регистрировались под углом 35 в л.с. и в диапазоне поперечных импульсов от 0.6 до 3.7 ГэВ/ . Наблюдена сильная зависимость сечения рождения частиц от атомного числа. В предкумулятивной области проведено сравнение с расчетами по моделям HIJING и UrQMD.
Spin asymmetry of the protons emitted in the (85–95)°L.S. angular region in the π+d↑→p+x reaction was measured using a deuteron frozen‐spin target and a 40 GeV/c pion beam. The experimental results for (0.3–0.7) GeV/c momenta of the protons asre discussed and compared with the predictions of some models of cumulative particle production.
The inclusive production of π0’s in the interaction of unpolarized π−, k−, and antiproton beams with polarized proton and deuteron targets has been studied at IHEP. The absolute value of the asymmetry for π0 production in the polarized proton and deuteron targets is between zero and fiften percent for large x=P*/P* max and small Pt and independent on the quark flavor. Results are presented and compared with theoretical calculations. (AIP)
A 40%‐asymmetry has been revealed in the hard scattering region at 40 GeV. Systematic errors in the experiment are noticeable. The observed effect requires detailed discussion of the production mechanisms.
The results on measuring polarization in charge exchange reaction π−+p→π0+n at 40 GeV/c are presented for the 4-momentum transfer range from 0 up to 2 (GeV/c)2. At |t|≦0.4 (GeV/c)2 the polarization has a positive sign. In the “crossover” region of π± elastic scattering a possible minimum in the polarization behaviour has been seen for the first time. the polarization is zero within the statistical accuracy near this point. In the “deep” region of the charge-exchange differential cross-section the polarization has a negative sign. The presented data are not in agreement with the modern theoretical models.
The preliminary results of polarization measurements in reaction π−+p→η+n at 40 GeV/c for the 4‐momentum transfers up to 1 (GeV/c)2 are presented. Averaged blue of the polarization in the t‐range 0,5<‖t‖<1 (GeV/c)2 is −(24±8)%. The presented data are in a contraction with existant Regge model predictions.
