Quality of university teaching is a perpetual theme in university education.Scientific teaching evaluation is a main method to improve education quality.The paper discusses the disadvantages and the preventive measures of teaching evalua-tion in universities.

Innovative ability is one of the important qualities,which is the essential to industry personnel.Due to the inflexible teaching system and the lack of practice courses in the current high education,students' innovative consciousness and potential are not fully developed.Facing this situation,we reestablished the teaching mode by creating a good teaching atmosphere,respecting students' individual differences,and adjusting the inflexible examination.Meanwhile,to strengthen practice,we built a school-enterprise cooperation platform and held science competitions.Teaching mode reform and engineering practice can stimulate students' innovation emotions,arouse their innovation consciousness,and develop their innovation potential.Therefore,the goal of developing students innovative ability will be achieved.

This article discusses the teaching system and teaching contents of the reform of Fundamentals of Materials Science. The article focuses on improving teaching efficiency. Teaching manner should be ex- plained by teachers, then be combined through teachers and students＇ discussion. The precise teaching con- tent should be stressed, class designing should be optimized, and multimedia technology should be made full use in order to strengthen students＇ understanding on difficult theory and abstract concept. Then the ar- ticle illustrates that teachers should pay special attention to the skillful application of humanities and allu- sions, metaphor, analogy manner during teaching process. Teachers should also regulate students＇ assess- ment method,pay close attention to multi-factor assessment strategy and strengthen the complementary im- provement of subject construction and humanities. Lastly, the article stresses that teachers should strive for cultivating students＇ divergent thinking ability, self-acquiring knowledge ability and the creative ability.
